The Frank Anthony Public School, Kolkata, is a co-educational institution open to members of all creed and communities and to foreign nationals, temporarily or permanently resident in India. The Foundation Stone of the Frank Anthony Public School, Calcutta, was laid by Mr. Frank Anthony on January 27, 1965. The school is under the management of the Anglo-Indian Education Trust. The courses of study and the scheme of work are those leading to Indian School Certificate (I.S.C) and the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (I.C.S.E).

*About our founder: Late Mr. Frank Anthony

The Late Mr. Frank Anthony was born in Jabalpur, in 1908. In 1942, Mr. Anthony was elected the President- in-chief of the Community of the All India Anglo-Indian Association, and since then, had been the leader of the Anglo-Indian Community. In October 1946, Mr. Anthony was selected as one of India's principal delegates to represent the country in the first delegation from Independent India to the United Nations. In 1948 and again in 1957, he was one of India's representatives to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference. Mr. Anthony's greatest contribution was in the field of the Anglo-Indian Education. In 1947 he was elected Chairman of the Inter-State Board of Anglo-Indian Education. He was also the Founder-Chairman of the All India Anglo-Indian Educational Trust which, today, owns and controls five schools named after him, The Frank Anthony Public and Junior Schools in the Kolkata, Delhi and Bangalore.

FAPS Assembly Prayer

O God help us to be gentle,
Walking softly with one another,
Help us to be understanding,
Lest we should add to the world's sorrow,
Or cause to flow one needless tear,
Help us to stand for what is right
Not because we may gain by it
But because it is right.
Help us to be eager to forgive others
As we are to ask forgiveness.

Prosper with by blessing
We beseech Thee Oh Lord,
The work of this our school
And grant that those, that serve Thee here
May set Thy Holy Will
Even before them.
And do that which is
Well-pleasing in the sight

Until the end.
